Susan and I returned home this week from a 10 day ministry trip in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. The services were wonderful; the Lord is truly wonderful. The musical ministry was an important part of the services. We had times of high praise … that sawdust between your toes, tent-meeting anointing as from years ago … and also the fragrant worship of basking in His presence. In one of the services in Delaware, healings began to occur during the musical ministry as I played the keyboard and Susan and I led the congregation in worship … with new choruses and melodies as given by the Spirit. What a time!
We especially thank God for the ones making decisions for Christ, either for the first time, or coming back to God. We also thank God for the hearing of His Word. The teaching was well-received … people are hungry for the Word of God. The services in Pennsylvania were very fruitful. We so enjoyed our time there. And also in Delaware … we look forward to being back in that church again. But I especially want to mention some healings that occurred in Wildwood, NJ. Two who had tinnitus (ringing in the ears) were healed instantly and completely. There was also a lady who was partially deaf since age nine who was healed. She wore two hearing aids and was 70% deaf in the right ear and 30% deaf in the left ear. I commanded the ears to opened in Jesus’ Name. She said she heard something like a “whoosh” as her ears opened. She could hear a faint whisper behind her right ear. After the service, she was having normal conversations without needing the hearing aids. Praise God! Many others received healing of various conditions as we prayed for them in the Name of Jesus. Below are two video clips of some of those healings.
A new CD sermon is available at http://www.McCanlessMinistries.com/cds.htm. If you order this month, I’ll include the music CD of Easter – 2012 which includes the live praise and worship service, Watch The Lamb, and He’s Alive.
Two Doors – Two Births is a message I gave last night. A strong anointing was on the preaching – I trust that it will bless you. It includes prophetic words given to some there, but also uplifting words of new spiritual psalms as inspired by the Spirit of God.
John 10 speaks of Jesus entering into the sheepfold by the door. All who came before Him were thieves and robbers because they did not enter in by the door. Satan was not born here. He obtained his authority from Adam, and though it is legal, he obtained it illegally. But God still honors the authority that was given to Adam which was passed to Satan, who is now called the god of this world (II Cor. 4:4). Jesus came to get that authority back. But to do so legally and rightfully, He had to be born here. He came through the door … that is, the womb of woman. Jesus was not born of man, He was born of woman. The blood comes from the man. The sin-nature is passed down through the man. Jesus was not born of the male. He was born of a virgin. He did not inherit the sin nature. His blood came from His heavenly Father. His blood was and is holy and without sin. Yet, He shed His blood for us. He became sin for us. He became our sin-sacrifice for us so we could be cleansed and made righteous by His precious blood. In so doing, He became the door for us to enter into the Kingdom of God. The Bible says that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Jesus was made to be sin so that you would be made the righteousness of God in Him. There is a spiritual miracle that takes place. You change on the inside by the power of God. “Ye must be born again.”
There are two doors and there are two births. One is natural and one is spiritual. Have you entered in through the second door? Have you been born again? I invite you to listen to this message. Please write to me if you have any questions or comments.
Next week, Susan and I will be traveling to Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware for meetings … and tentatively in Maryland. Please be in prayer with us and for us. We desire to be effective ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for His glory. Pray that we will be a blessing, and that God will allow us to be fruitful for Him and for His people. As the Lord leads us, we will be singing and ministering in music, and preaching and teaching the Word of God. We expect manifestations of His Spirit. We humbly desire to be useful instruments of His, reaching out to people to edify them spiritually and to minister to them physically. Pray with us that His gifts will be in manifestation.
As you might expect, this also presents a financial need. God is faithful and He meets the need, but He often uses people. We thank you for your hearing and obeying His voice … and even those who are not specifically aware of the leading of the Lord, but just want to support this ministry, we appreciate you! Our partners in ministry are so very valuable to us.
If you know of churches and/or ministries that would be open to this ministry, let us know … let them know.
